Christian University GlobalNet has just released a new course entitled Divine Encounters: Mapping Your Spiritual Life. This course is designed to prepare us spiritually and emotionally for growth in our relationship with God. Many of us have a desire to know God on a deeply experiential level, but we don’t know how to move forward. Both psychologists and spiritual directors have found that forward movement sometimes occurs most effectively after a backward look.

Therefore, in this course you will be taught how to create a map of your life from your earliest memories to the present. In this project, you will think back on your life, focusing on various segments, and will recall certain relationships, events, influences, and insights that occurred. As you review each life segment, both privately and with a mentor, you begin to see that the hand of God has been at work every step of the way. Learning to recognize His encounters will equip and enable you to move deeper into relationship with Him and with others.

This course includes five lectures presented by Dr. John Worgul, who is an experienced spiritual formation director and professor. In these lectures, Dr. Worgul teaches about the biblical concept of spiritual formation, the significance of examining our lives, and the goal of growing into Christlikeness. This is a one-of-a-kind course available only at Christian University GlobalNet. Through May 1st, it is being made available at no charge.

Cornerstone is an accredited university offering bachelor’s degrees in Ministry Leadership, Management, Psychology, and Business Administration.

By taking the Old Testament and New Testament survey, apologetics, and hermeneutics courses online from CUGN or ChristianCourses, you can earn up to 15 hours of transfer credit. This represents a significant cost savings to you and provides the convenience of online learning from anywhere, at any time.

After you complete your coursework with us, you simply submit your validations to Cornerstone for transfer credit. The rest of your bachelor’s degree coursework will be completed through Cornerstone University and will require on-campus presence for certain classes. But, by then, you will have a head start on the degree you have been dreaming of.
